Donut Calculator is developed and operated by Hanna Yurkevich (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how Donut Calculator collects, uses, and handles information when you use the app.

Information Stored Locally

Donut Calculator stores certain information locally on your device so that the app can function and remember your preferences. This may include:

• calculation history;
• app preferences, such as your selected theme; and
• local app state required for the app to function.

Donut Calculator does not upload this locally stored information to its own servers.

Your device's operating system may include locally stored information in device backups, such as iCloud or Google backup, according to your device and backup settings.

Deleting the app or clearing its local data may remove this information from your device.

Analytics

Donut Calculator uses Mixpanel to understand how the app is used and to help us improve it.

Analytics information may include:

• interactions with app features, such as completing a calculation;
• general information about the type of calculation performed, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or percentage;
• changes to certain app settings, such as your selected theme;
• app version and build information;
• operating system and operating system version;
• device and technical information, such as device model, manufacturer, screen characteristics, network or carrier information where available, and similar technical information;
• a pseudonymous identifier generated by the analytics service;
• general session information; and
• approximate geographic information, such as country, region, or city, derived from the IP address used to communicate with the analytics service.

Donut Calculator does not send the numbers you enter, calculation results, calculation expressions, pasted calculator content, or calculation history to Mixpanel.

We do not use Mixpanel to identify you by name or email address and do not create a Mixpanel user profile using your name or email address.

Third-Party Analytics Service

Donut Calculator currently uses Mixpanel as its analytics provider.

Analytics data collected through Mixpanel is configured to be processed and stored in the European Union. Mixpanel processes analytics information on our behalf in accordance with its applicable privacy and data-protection terms.

Advertising and Tracking

Donut Calculator does not contain advertising SDKs.

We do not use advertising identifiers and do not use analytics information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Accounts

Donut Calculator does not require or provide user accounts or login.

We therefore do not collect account credentials, usernames, or profile information through the app.

How We Use Information

Analytics information is used for purposes related to operating and improving Donut Calculator, including:

• understanding how people use the app;
• measuring app and user-flow performance;
• identifying technical or usability problems; and
• improving features and the user experience.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing personal data, we process analytics information for our legitimate interests in understanding, maintaining, and improving Donut Calculator, except where those interests are overridden by your rights or where another legal basis is required by applicable law.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored locally remains on your device until it is removed through the app, the app's local data is cleared, or the app is deleted, depending on the type of information and your device platform. Copies may remain in device backups according to your operating-system and backup settings.

Analytics information is retained through Mixpanel according to the retention settings applicable to the Donut Calculator Mixpanel project and as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Because Donut Calculator does not maintain user accounts and analytics identifiers are pseudonymous, we may need information from you that allows us to locate the relevant analytics data, where technically possible.
